A star and a seed

Then one night, a shooting star crossed the sky in a great burst of light and came to rest ever so gently, right in the heart of the sleeping little town.

On that very spot, a tiny seed began to grow. It grew, and grew, and grew again, until it became an enormous tree. That is how the Henri Tree was born.

The secret of the Kapous

Henri was no ordinary tree. His roots reached so deep that they touched the heart of every child. Whenever a child laughed, drew a picture or discovered something new, Henri felt it and his branches shivered with magic.

And when the joy was truly great, his leaves lit up in a thousand colours. Then, right at the top, odd little round and multicoloured fruits would grow. Once ripe, they came loose, spun down along the trunk and touched the ground… Poof!

That is how the Kapou people were born: little creatures made of smiles and kindness.

The town of Minitopia

Yet the Kapous were missing the most important thing of all: the children, who had given them life. So, all around Henri, they hummed as they built a whole town at children's height, and named it Minitopia. Each of them opened a shop.

Bolt will teach you how to change a wheel in his garage. Flora will show you around her garden centre, Alma will care for the little animals with you, Maxi will open his supermarket, Mimi will fire up her crêperie and Lila will prepare her sweetest ice creams.

But without children, Minitopia stays dark. Alma's animals wait in vain, Maxi's shelves stay empty, not a single scoop leaves Lila's ice cream parlour. It takes a child pushing the door for a spark to run through the streets… and for the whole town to light up at once.
